The “About Us” page is designed to explain your business to people who aren't familiar with it.
It needs a captivating description that will invite visitors to gain an understanding of your company’s mission, products, services, personnel and uniqueness.
It needs to be kept short and simple, not more than 5-6 paragraphs.
You might typically include information on how you were founded and why, or a products and services summary. Mention your uniqueness as to why a client would like to do business with you; what is remarkable about your company? Emphasize that which sets you apart from your competitors.
Indicate your target market and or any significant projects you might have done. You can also mention any new developments or expansions your company is doing.
People relate to people. So by adding something from a human perspective about your company's purpose, community support or mission can add more of a human personality to the typical “About Us” information.
Proofread carefully for grammatical errors and typos.
Your website is often the first impression someone will have of your company be honest and interesting.
